Being regarded as an important new-generation artist for the city, our MBA alumna Vivian Ho took the bold decision, after completing her degree from Wesleyan University in Economics and Studio Art, to become a visual artist. In her talk, Vivian will share with us the different facets of an art career, the inner workings of the art world and her helpful tips about surviving as an artist as she navigates her fun, inspiring yet challengeable art journey.

In just a few years, Vivian has held several solo and group exhibitions both in HK and overseas, building a reputation for imagination and sharp insight, with depictions of ordinary people in city life, and creating a romantic, almost cinematic vision. Her works are currently collected by M+ Museum, the Foundation Valmont, Nishiji Collection and Copelouzos Family Art Museum.

This sharing is an affiliated event of the exhibition “The Power of Diversity – Artistic Visionaries from HKUST”, one of the highlights of HKUST’s 30th Anniversary, held at the HKUST Lee Shau Kee Library from April 19 to August 24, 2022.
